The Westhills Arena is an ASHRAE-award-winning skating facility built in 2010, containing an NHL-size ice surface with a skating trail that joins to an outdoor skating pond along with a full-service restaurant and bowling alley. All of the heating, cooling, dehumidification and domestic hot water systems in the facility are integrated with the main ice rink refrigeration system, with excess heat being shared with a neighbouring residential community via a shared geothermal borefield. Accent Refrigeration will guide you on a tour of the facility to demonstrate how the facility functions and balances the needs of an ice rink with the needs of other building services
